Grimlord Games - Endure The Stars

Advanced House Media Creative Director, Michael Thompson, was approached by Adam Smith and Mike Brown to develop a brand identity for their new adventure board game business Grimlord Games. In additon to this we were also commissioned to brand and design their first board game, Endure The Stars, including the design of the box, dashboard cards, board tokens, weapons card deck, armour card deck, helmet card deck, melee cards, mood cards, attack cards and dice. Character illustrations were created by Bri in the Sky (Brian Coughlan).

 

This large scale project was launched via the Kickstarter platform, which we creatively supported the Grimlord Games team with, designing a multitude of graphics to drive the funding goals and promote the campaign across several online game sites. The inital funding target was set at £40k which they far exceeded, raising a huge £130,592 with 1652 backers. Based on the success of Endure the Stars, Grimlord Games has since gone on to produce two further adventure board game titles, Village Attacks and The Everrain, in addition to variant packs for Endure The Stars and an updated version of the game.
